A farm was established surrounded by a vast greenery in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli known for its water buffaloes. Production commenced after the water buffaloes with high milk yield and quality were selected through rigorous and detailed studies and brought from Italy to Turkey.
Setting out on this journey to produce the most quality and fresh Italian cheese in Turkey, Buffa produces Mozzarella, Mini Mozzarella, Burrata, Ricotta, Ricotta Lisciata Robiola and Mascarpone thanks to the expertise of Italian cheese masters of over 20 years at its modern production facilities.
Buffa practices the same degree of care in producing the traditional tastes of the Turkish cuisine, namely Water Buffalo Yoghurt, Butter and Kaymak (Clotted Cream), by using 100% water buffalo milk with a flavor that we have all known from our childhood.
